Description
In his youth Mr Lewisham thought little of love and much of greatness. A worthy scholar he concerned himself with the works of Shakespeare and Emerson, Confucius and Carlyle. But that was before he accompanied the boys to church one Sunday and found that the Frobishers' pew was occupied by an unknown lady. For Mr Lewisham, knowing little of love and its far from smooth path, this was to be the beginning of a deep inner conflict. (Description from external book data)
